The biggest news today: Four global shipping giants announced the suspensionof Red Sea routes due to the merchant ships being attacked near the RedSea-Mandeb Strait become more and more frequent recently!

Recently, cargo ships in the Red Sea have been frequently attacked by Yemen's Houthi rebels, causing chaos in the global supply chain. This lead to an important trouble, Mediterranean-Red Sea route transportation costs will surely soar in the short term,and transportation time would be extended by at least 15-20 days or even longer due to the detour around the Cape of Good Hope.

The Red Sea is located between northeast Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. It is connected to the Mediterranean Sea through the Suez Canal to the northwest, and to the Gulf of Aden through the Mander Strait to the south. It guards the main transportation routes of Asia, Africa and Europe. It is one of the busiest waterways in the world.
